What is the most important thing in your life? A career? Family? Money? Friends? Religion? Whatever it is, how do you see yourself? A life without friends may feel lonely. Without money, perhaps you can’t enjoy the luxury things that you want. Without a good relationship with family members you may not be happy. Without a career then life must be pretty boring. However, without God life loses its meaning.
God, who created everything in this world is passionately interested in who you are. You may be struggling for a living, but somehow He will still provide. You may not understand what you’re going through but God has you in the palm of His hand. You may be going through a bad marriage, but God is urging you to change for the better. Friends may forsake you but God will not. If you cry out to Him He will hear your prayers and respond to your needs.
God is immensely interested in everything that concerns you. He cares for your family and He is interested in how you’re doing in your career. He watches over you when you sleep, and when you wake up the next morning, He is there to assure you that your day will be blessed if you were to commit it to Him. He directs and guides your path in everything that you do. He wants you to succeed and will pave the way for you. He is very interested in everything about you.
As God is interested about you, are you interested to know Him? Do you see that He is the most important Person in everything that concerns you? Do you talk to Him and tell Him everything that is in your way? Do you walk with Him like a friend, talking and communicating with Him every moment? Is God your everything?
The greatest joy is when God begins to talk to you after you have drawn yourself to Him and talk to Him everyday. When God begins to communicate with you, know that you are in the safest place that you can be. Nothing will hinder you from knowing what is God’s heart and His will for your life. As you talk to Him and know Him, He will reveal Himself to you.
The joy of knowing God is immense. There is nothing in this life that you can trade for except hearing the voice of God and knowing Him. Would you talk to God now and tell Him that He is the most important Person in your life, not things or life itself.
